Support and customer service is something that we handle in a unique way. We do not have dedicated support-only positions on the team and we make sure all technical questions are answered directly by the very same developers that created the product. We know that our customers are experienced developers and we make sure they interact directly with us - very technical guys with a lot of experience in the industry. There is no first, second and third level support until you reach someone who actually knows what's going on. In case of bugs we often reply directly with the fixed builds - thanks to our automated test & build process.
Valid for one developer seat. Example: if your team has 3 developers directly working with the product, you will need to purchase 3 licenses. Licenses are valid per seat - meaning they are not named and you can exchange different developers on the team as long as you do not exceed the license limit. There are no limitations on the number of projects/sites you can use the product in - you can use it on any number of sites you need. There is no time limit - you can use the product for any period of time you need. There is no restriction on the number of internal/development/qa/testing/staging machines/servers you use while you are developing your solution. There are no royalties of any kind involved.
1 year free delivery of all products and updates valid for your license. Example: you have purchased jqSuite for PHP Subscription - this means you will receive all new releases for all new products within jqSuite for one year for free. This is a pretty major feature - we regularly update our products to match the latest jQuery release (e.g. from 1.4.4 to 1.5) and latest browsers (e.g. IE9), as well as steadily release new products and features - so we do recommend the subscription license.
If you purchase this option, you will receive the full current source code of the product. This is a snapshot of the latest released original source code our technical team is working with. The source code is commented and projects can be compiled/experimented with. Note: we cannot provide tecnical support/answer source code related questions.
Answer from our technical team within 24 hours. Valid Monday-Friday (weekends not included). Note that we make it a rule that developers that have created the products answer your questions. There will not be several roundtrips before different levels of support people until you reach the persons that actually know what is going on. If you have a Standard license, you can upgrade at any time to Subscription + Source Code + Priority Support for 50% of the license cost. Example - you have jqSuite for PHP Standard license for $450. At one point, you wish to get the Subscription + Source Code + Priority support license - you can do that at 50% 50% of the original price, meaning $349. The Trirand story began in 2008 when we created what turned out to be the most popular jQuery UI grid control jqGrid. As the product evolved, there had been a lot of demand for commercial support, tighter integration with development platforms like PHP and ASP.NET and new products from Trirand, so we listened. This is how our commercial Trirand team was created in 2010.
